Deleting a volume on cloud services is a critical task that requires careful consideration, as it can result in the permanent loss of data. This user guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to delete a volume on Eranyacloud. Please ensure that you have a backup of any important data before proceeding.

Getting Started

To delete the volume, first you need to Detach it from the Instance:

Once the volume is detached, navigate to the volume main page and you will notice the status is updated to “Available”:

Click on the volume to open the volume details and navigate to action button and choose “Delete”:

A system will prompt you to confirm the deletion. Double-check that you have selected the correct volume before proceeding.

After confirming the deletion, the cloud service provider will initiate the deletion process. It may take some time to complete, depending on the size of the volume. Monitor the deletion progress through the console. You will prompt with confirmation of deletion.

Deleted volumes are unrecoverable, so ensure that you have backups and have followed your organization’s data retention policies.
